Some songs only need one hook flipped to become a completely different joke. Gala's 1996 Eurodance smash "Freed from Desire" is a few verse lines, one chorus, and a na-na-na chant that football crowds across Europe have borrowed for their own songs ever since. Matevz ordered a parody swap through ChangeLyric that turns the opening of the track into a battle anthem for seals.
The original, by Italian singer Gala Rizzatto, swept the European charts in 1996 and 1997. Its lyric is tiny by design: a verse about a love with no money and no fame, a chorus about being freed from desire, and a wordless chant that fills the rest of the runtime. That compactness is exactly what makes it parody-proof material, because everyone already knows where the words land.
What Changed
The rewrite touches only the opening cycle: the first two verse blocks, the first pre-chorus, and the first chorus, 16 lines in total. The second verse and chorus that follow are untouched too, and everything from the first na-na-na chant onward is the original recording.
Before: "My love has got no money / He's got his strong beliefs." After: "Our fight has got no heros / It gets to make us try." The pre-chorus swaps "Want more and more" for "Want war and gore," and the chorus flips the title line itself.
"Freed from desire / Mind and senses purified" becomes "Seals are on fire / Human masters terrified."

How We Made It
The order arrived with the new lyrics already written, mapped line for line against the original. Matevz's rewrite covers only the opening verse pair, the first pre-chorus, and the first chorus, so the job was to rebuild those sections with the new words in place and leave everything after them exactly as recorded.
Will picked the order up within the hour of payment clearing and started work immediately. The finished audio landed the next day, under 14 hours after checkout and comfortably ahead of the delivery deadline.
The delivery included the full master plus isolated instrumental and vocal stems. No revisions were requested, and the order was accepted the same day it arrived.
Why It Works
Parody lives or dies on syllable count. "Seals are on fire" rides the same four syllables as "Freed from desire" and ends on the same open "ire" sound, while "Human masters terrified" lands the exact "ified" rhyme of "Mind and senses purified." Sing the chorus once and the joke locks in for good.
There is also craft in the placement. The song opens as a full seal uprising, "our fight," "war and gore," "human masters terrified," and then snaps back to the original love song after a single chorus. The deadpan battle verses sitting next to the untouched na-na-na fade are what earn the laugh on the second listen.
