We No Longer Change Lyrics on AI-Generated Songs

August 21, 2026: You made a song with Suno. It is 90 percent perfect, but one line is wrong, and you want it fixed without regenerating the whole track. That request keeps landing in our queue, and starting today we no longer accept it.

Effective immediately, our done-for-you lyric change service will not change the lyrics of fully AI-generated songs, meaning complete tracks produced end to end by tools like Suno and Udio. Submit one and we decline the order with a full refund.

There are two reasons, and I will give you both straight.

Reason 1: We Cannot Match the Sound

A lot of AI-generated vocals sound bad in a specific way: hazy, smoothed over, synthetic. Whatever we generate to replace your changed lines does not carry that same haze, so the new lines sound different from everything around them.

The listener's ear catches the seam instantly. An edit you can hear is a failed edit, and months of extra effort on our end never closed that gap. I am not willing to ship that with our name on it.

Reason 2: The Expectations Do Not Fit the Work

The second reason is harder to say politely. Changing lyrics well is skilled human work: writing, production, quality control, revisions. Someone who generated their song in thirty seconds usually expects a flawless match and does not put much value on the human hours behind one.

That mismatch showed up on nearly every one of these orders: friction on price, friction on turnaround, and a result that could never sound exactly like the free original anyway.

We Tried Anyway

We did not land here after one bad order. For months we took AI songs anyway and threw extra hours and revision rounds at them. Across roughly ten of these orders, one or two customers ended up happy; the rest ended in refunds or a rebuild on a real song.

Taking orders we cannot deliver wastes your time waiting and our production hours, so we stopped.

What Counts as AI-Generated

The policy covers one specific thing: complete tracks that came out of a generator. If you typed a prompt into Suno or Udio and got a finished song back, that song is covered.

It does not cover a real recording that used AI somewhere in production. Record a singer properly and tune one weak note with AI, and it is still a real recording we will gladly work on.

How the New Policy Works

Paste a Suno or Udio link into the order form and it blocks the order on the spot, with an explanation. No checkout, no charge, no waiting to find out.

Uploaded audio gets a one-tap checkbox confirming the song is a real recording, since an AI export looks like any other file. If one slips through anyway, we decline and refund you in full, usually the same day we review it.

The self-serve side is untouched. Our DIY lyric tools accept any audio you upload, including AI-generated tracks, and you keep full control of the result.

If Your Song Is AI-Generated, Do This Instead

Option 1: Edit the Lyrics in the Original Tool (Best)

Change the lyrics where the song was made. Suno and Udio both have inpainting: select the section with the wrong lines, paste in your revision, and re-render only that part. The new lines come from the same engine that made the rest of the track, which is exactly the kind of match we cannot guarantee.

Option 2: ChangeLyric Tools Plus a DAW (Can Work)

The other path is to run the track through our self-serve lyric swap tools yourself, then cut, crossfade, and level the changed lines in a DAW until they sit inside the song. Fair warning: matching that hazy AI vocal by hand is exactly why we stopped taking these orders through the service.

What Is Not Changing

Pricing, turnaround, revisions, and the catalog of songs we work on all stay the same. The custom lyric service still starts at $50 for up to five changed lines, still lands within three business days, and still includes free revisions.
